The L'Oréal Haircare brand development team formulated a strategy to utilize the introduction of updated structural packaging and label graphics to announce state of the art product formulation advancements for the Vive product line. After reviewing the proposal, corporate management expanded the scope of the project to explore the feasibility of a global brand identity and packaging presentation.
Upon completion of a comprehensive market analysis, the Vive product management team detailed their branding objectives and packaging development criteria. The Johnson Communications Group applied the client's design standard and initiated the development of a global brand identity and packaging design system for the North American markets. A detailed packaging development program was formulated to implement strategic structural packaging and graphic design modifications in several phases during the global design transition. The final packaging design successfully transitions Vive Haircare in the North American markets and achieves the client's ultimate objective of a unified global brand identity.
