Platinum Styling, L'Oréal Haircare's innovative new product line, combines advanced technology with state of the art hair styling. The Platinum product line was formulated to provide the consumer with the tools necessary to achieve the same long lasting style and finish previously only available at a salon.
Following the completion of a comprehensive market analysis, the L'Oréal Haircare new product development team detailed their branding objectives and packaging development criteria. Brand management collaborated with the Johnson Communications Group to apply the Platinum packaging design standard seeking to establish brand identity through the creation of a strong visual communication, utilizing unique structural designs, innovative packaging materials and distinctive graphic imagery.
The Johnson Communications Group launched an extensive creative development study. Cutting edge packaging materials and technologies were sourced and developed for application in the creation of structural packaging and graphic design alternatives for the Platinum product line. A wide range of innovative visual branding solutions were developed for Platinum Styling's new product launch, providing L'Oréal Haircare a strong foundation in support of their marketing communications objectives.
